In an effort to answer questions that haunted her since her high-school days, Ariadne von Schirach dedicated her life to dissecting the inner vices that our western societies foster. It can be difficult to let go, as our often complicated relationship to “finity” (having a beginning and an end) can be the source of great discomfort, anguish and fear. That is why the work of Ariadne Von Schirach, that puts perspective and wisdom into a concept capable of damaging the serenity of stable minds, is so important.

Invited to Graz’s Elevate Festival to give a speech on – you guessed it – “finity”,  german philosopher and author Ariadne von Schirach shared her thoughts with us on the state of our society as we know it, which she thoroughly dissected in her series of books centered on “Modern Life”. See more below.

For more interviews recorded at Elevate Festival, check out this moment we shared with producer Azu Tiwaline.
