Lukas Lauermann is considered one of the most versatile cellists in Austria. Openness and a love of experimentation characterise his approach. Lauermann has not only collaborated with greats of the domestic pop world, he realises music for performances, theatre and film and from time to time also moves in the segment of classical and contemporary music. He has proven that he can impress as a solo musician as well with his latest release In (Col legno). His sensitive, elegiac pieces show the versatility of the cellist, who also likes to experiment with extended playing techniques and electronics.
