Can you briefly introduce yourself and queer:raum?
My name is Francesco Giordano. I’m a queer photographer living and working in Munich, Germany. I have Italian and Spanish roots and I was born in southern Germany in 1992. My focus is on LGBTQIA+ topics, intersectionality, and migration. With my collaborative projects like „Rainbow Refugees (Stories)“, „377. Inside India’s Community“, and „queer:raum“, I create more visibility for marginalised groups and queer issues. I’m inspired by diversity, the cohesion of communities, and their striving to improve society. My photography is all about telling a story and creating a gentle connection between viewer and work to make people think.
