It’s rare enough to mention, Polish artist Resina took part in Unsound Festival’s 2021 programme for 2 separate musical projects. The first one was a live rendition of horror-film Candyman’s score, orchestrated by Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe and played in Krakow’s ICE Hall. The second one was live improvisation guided by Nicholas Jaar, featuring a cast of 15 instrumentalist.
We caught up with Resina in-between rehearsals for an exchange on her latest album “Speechless”, produced during the female rights protest which took over Poland in 2020.
This interview was conducted by David Bola, shot by Maciej Karnaś and edited by Kachna Baraniewicz.
*We are Europe has been a cooperation project financed by Creative Europe between 2015 and 2021.
