Afro-Dutch Scene
Afro Dutch is a contemporary musical genre born in the Netherlands and derived from hip hop, bubbling* and moombathon*, in which cultural elements originating from South America, the Caribbean, the Sub Saharian region and North Africa are merged. These musical genres are supported by the diasporic communities of Suriname, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire now living in the Netherlands.
