Tryphème, Mike, Ulysse and I are at Bistrot Senior, in Les pentes de Lyon (editor's note - neighbourhood in Lyon). Not an insignificant place because since 2018 it has hosted Lyl Radio, a local radio station where Tryphème used to host a monthly show, Dame de Cœur.
The radio plays in the bar non-stop. That reminds me that when you were younger, you couldn’t stand hearing music.
Tryphème: I didn’t like music at all. Sometimes, it’s hard for me to listen someone playing music. If I hear my boyfriend playing music, I can get stressed out too. If it’s music that’s playing that I don’t like, it can really get me feeling very stressed. There are a lot of festivals that I have to leave early. I can’t stay.
David: It may be a kind of misophonia?
Yes. I don’t know. When I was little, I didn’t want my parents to listen to music. I asked my brother to turn down the music in the car. I was really psychotic. It was really important not to turn it up too loud.
