In April 2020, a virtual concert by Travis Scott on the video game Fortnite attracted a global audience of millions. Quite aside from the impact of lockdown, the resounding success of the event raises important questions about how we experiment with and consume music – and above all, about new ways of constructing formats in this artistic field.
