"AI is not a matter of the future: it’s actually happening right now". Holly Herndon (artist), Mat Dryhurst (artist and researcher), Ronny Krieger (Music Tech Consultant) and Ferdi Alici (Ouchhh) were at Sónar+D 2019 to discuss the impact of AI on the cultural sector, and more specifically music. Whether it is machine learning or building counter-narratives on algorithms, they perceive an appetite for conversation on these topics, both from an ethical or a political perspective.
